This policy explains what information StarBrief ("we") collects when you visit starbrief sites and how it's used.
Information we collect
We don't ask you to create an account and we don't sell personal information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The site itself does not currently set tracking cookies and does not load third-party fonts or scripts. Our host may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.
Advertising (future Google ads)
We plan to show ads served by Google AdSense in the future. When we do: third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses data from partner sites. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we'll ask for your consent before setting ad cookies. This policy will be updated when ads go live.
Links to other sites
Our articles link to outside publishers. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
StarBrief is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
